ABSTRACTF. A. Mann points out that private international law jurists are confronted with two aspects of public international law. Each of the two aspects forms a part of the course. After a few general introductory remarks on private international law and public international law, the author first examines the relationship between the law of the forum and its own public law. He then focuses on the relationship between private international law and foreign public law, including the implementation and enforcement of foreign public law.
F.A. Mann relève que les juristes de droit international privé sont confrontés à deux aspects du droit international public. Chacun de ces deux aspects constitue une partie du cours. Après quelques remarques introductives d'ordre général sur le droit international privé et le droit international public, l'auteur étudie ainsi dans un premier temps les relations entre la loi du for et son propre droit public. Il s'intéresse ensuite à la relation le droit international privé et le droit public étranger, et notamment à la mise en œuvre et à l'application du droit public étranger.
