ABSTRACTFrom the 19th century, human migratory movements have reached very significant proportions. The phenomenon of migration owes its importance not only to its increasing growth, but also to its importance in international law. In this course, Jaime Ruiz De Santiago explores some of the characteristics of these migratory movements and the consequences that they have had on the level of international law. The author outlines some of the characteristics of international refugee protection in the organized international society. He specifies how the various forced movements of the people are presented. These may include refugee movements, movements of internally displaced persons in their own country of origin, migratory movements caused by economic reasons, and the movements of slaves and victims of human trafficking. The phenomenon of increasing migration represents an opportunity that presents itself and highlights a requirement of international legal consciousness.
A partir du XIXe siècle, ces mouvements migratoires humains ont atteint des proportions très considérables. Le phénomène des migrations doit son importance non seulement à son augmentation croissante, sinon aussi à l’importance qu’elle prend dans le droit international. Dans ce cours, Jaime Ruiz De Santiago consiste à approfondir quelques caractéristiques de ces mouvements migratoires, présenter les conséquences qu’ils ont eus au niveau du droit international. L’auteur exposer certains traits qu’a présentés la protection internationale des réfugiés au sein de la société internationale organisée. Il précise comment se présentent les différents mouvements forcés de personnes. Il peut s'agir de mouvements de réfugiés, de mouvements de personnes déplacées dans leur propre pays d'origine, de mouvements migratoires causés pour des raisons économiques et de mouvements d'esclaves et de victimes de la traite des êtres humains. Le phénomène de la migration croissante représente une opportunité qui se présente et qui souligne une exigence de conscience juridique internationale.
