Gorani language is a Slavic ethnolect included in the group of Torlak dialects used in the Gora region, southeast of Serbia, northwest of North Macedonia, and west of Bulgaria. The Gorani ethnolect has all the emblematic Balkan features typical for the Balkan League languages. It is an analytical language in which the lack of grammatical-case category is compensated by the plethora of prepositional structures and a number of changes in syntax.
