Ereignisse in Petrograd zwischen dem 23. Februar und 4. März 1917 (8. bis 17. März nach dem Gregorianischen Kalender), die zum Sturz der Romanows und zur vollständigen Emanzipation der Juden in Russland führten. Die im Februar eingeführte Demokratie hatte bis zum bolschewistischen Staatsstreich am 25./26. Oktober (7./8. November) Bestand. Die jüdische Bevölkerung begrüßte die Revolution; politische Parteien und öffentliche Aktivitäten von Juden in Russland erlebten 1917 eine beispiellose Blüte.
